Running for Beginners






Every STG run session has a group of runners with a wide range of speed and fitness levels. Our sessions are designed so that everyone trains to his or her own target pace, while distance usually depends on individual training goals.

Ever had a good look at your running technique? Few ever tinker with their running form however we’ve found that great improvements can be made with the slightest of adjustments. Correct running technique also minimises the chance of running injury. Attending regular STG run sessions will not only identify and address any form issues you might have, it will also develop your body for optimal run strength and efficiency.

STG run coaches have trained hundreds of athletes, including beginners, to complete half and full marathon distance events as well as finish strongly in all distance triathlons.
